NPR Labs Online Viewing Applications for Public Radio and Television
The NPR Labs Public Television Online Viewing Application and the NPR Labs Public FM Radio Online Viewing Application comprise a set of tools that let users dynamically explore mapping and demographic data for PTFP-qualified FM and TV transmitters. The tools are now freely available your interaction, and are intended for anyone affiliated with a PTFP-qualified FM and/or TV transmitter. Please see the abstracts introducing these tools and the scope of work in these PFTP studies.

20100301: REVISED NPR Labs PAD Applications for iBiquity v4.x and later Importer software
NPR Labs has learned that the PAD applications provided free-of-charge to NPR Members are incompatible with iBiquity's version 4.x and later Importer Software. NPR Labs has been working to revise the software, and is developing the replacement using the PADSDK provided through iBiquity Digital Corporation. The alpha version has recreated the software as a Windows service with 'plug-in' components to operate the desired PAD stream, flexible scheduling to allow different services to push PAD to the same network port at different times.

Digital Radio Coverage and Interference Analysis Study Now Available
NPR Labs has completed their DRCIA project - a monumental 18-month study projecting the consequences of interference between HD Radio and station analog broadcast signals, as well as HD Radio’s overall success in meeting coverage expectations and needs. NPR Labs Software The software made available on this page may only be downloaded by NPR Member Stations or other public radio stations determined to be eligible by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Please see the Software License Agreement for more information. Your identity will be verified using your NPRLabs.org Connect database profile. IMPORTANT NOTICE NPR Labs has learned that iBiquity's Importer software above v3.0.5 is not compatible with these PAD applications. NPR Labs is working with iBiquity to fix this problem. 	PAD Content Programmer The NPR Labs PAD Content Programmer is a tool to provide PAD/PSD information for HD Radio channels. It is designed to use TCP or UDP and to be used with Importers running Versions 1.1.2 and 2.x.x of the iBiquity Importer software. 	PAD Variable Programmer The NPR Labs PAD Variable Programmer is a tool to test PAD/PSD variables on HD Radio channels. It is designed to be used with Importers running 2.x.x to 3.0.5 of the iBiquity Importer software. It can also be used with a main program service with Exporters running version 2.3.3 of iBiquity’s Exporter software. 	Text Scheduling Unit (TSU) The NPR Labs TSU is a tool to provide PAD/PSD information for HD Radio channels on a weekly schedule. It is designed to use TCP or UDP and to be used with Importers running Versions 1.1.2 and 2.x.x of the iBiquity Importer software. It can also be used with a main program service with Exporters running version 2.3.3 of iBiquity’s Exporter software. It communicates PAD via NPR Labs’ PAD_Processor_CLI. It is designed to use UDP and to be used with Importers running Version 2.x.x to 3.0.5 of the iBiquity Importer software. It can also be used with a main program service with Exporters running version 2.3.3 of iBiquity’s Exporter software. PAD Processor CLI The NPR Labs PAD Processor CLI is a command line tool to provide PAD/PSD information for HD Radio channels. It is designed to use TCP or UDP and to be used with Importers running Versions 1.1.2 and 2.x.x of the iBiquity Importer software. It can also be used with a main program service with Exporters running version 2.3.3 of iBiquity’s Exporter software. The PAD Processor CLI is designed for use with other programs or scripts and should not be used as a standalone end user tool. For this, NPR Labs offers PAD Processor CLI’s sister tool, PAD Content Programmer v1.0.1, which provides the same functionality but with a GUI for end user use.
