Distribution’s internship program offers students unique opportunities
to test and enhance their skills, and play a vital role in our daily
operations.
NPR Distribution includes NPR Labs, the nation's only not-for-profit broadcast technology research and development center.
NPR Distribution also manages and operates the Public Radio Satellite System (PRSS)
which distributes more than 400,000 hours of news, music and specialized
audience programming to more than 800 public radio stations throughout
the U.S.
Internships are offered during the summer, fall, and winter/spring semesters in the following departments:
- Business/Fiscal Affairs
- Customer Development
- Communications & Marketing
- Project Management
- Product Development
- Software Development
- Operations & Engineering
- Research & Development
Internship Semester Dates:
- Winter/Spring: early January - late April
- Summer: early June - mid August
- Fall: early September - late December
Eligibility:
A candidate must be a graduate student,
an undergraduate student, or have graduated from college within twelve
months of beginning the internship. Internship applicants must be
authorized to work in the United States.
